Despite spring’s late arrival, March Madness is upon us.
And this year the Madness is getting social on Twitter.
Which is good news for those who love college basketball, but dread the thought of being parted from their Twitter account for too long.
Twitter handle @marchmadness will be tweeting video highlights from all 67 games.
Although be warned, there will be a delay of several minutes, so if you like the element of surprise in your highlights, it’s best not to watch with others.
In fact Twitter highlights are probably best saved for your victory lap, or for rubbing in the faces of your opponent’s fans the next day (or week/month). Or maybe even to make your self feel better when the other team makes history by coming back from a 20 point deficit with only three minutes to go.
Because if you’re looking at highlights on Twitter during the game, you’re probably not actually watching it.
