To Dear, Or Not to Dear...

To dear, or not to dear...
“Very few people have the humility to start as amateurs. They procrastinate doing the work they want in the name of perfectionism. You know these people. The one’s who have been saying for years that they’re going to do something but never do. Yet inwardly, they’re terrified of what other people will think of them. They’re caught in a state of paralysis by analysis — too busy calculating and never reaching a state of flow. Rather than doing work their own way, they do what they think will be well-received — being merely imitators of what is already popular.” (Source)
I am definitely the type of person who finds myself in the procrastination/ perfection- trap. That's why I said to myself when I got myself a Wacom board two weeks ago: "the first thing I will do with this is to finish up any unfinished project I have had going on". It turns out I have a big bunch of them -some of which even make me a little embarrassed today.  But it has to be done...
This one was supposed to be a "Gun's and Roses"-inspired card for Valentine's Day. I started making it back in 2013!
