This blog entry opened my mind to how travellers have grown from their cocoon through 'running away' (scratch that, traveling away).
In their need to change the foreboding future was to take charge and take their backpacks onto the road of uncertainty. The yellow bricks may not take you to the emerald city you hoped for, but it get you darn close. You meet more than munchkins, those pass and go's you encounter along the way, you will get to meet characters like the Scarecrow, Tin-man and Lion, those people who you are probably destined to befriend. They are the right connections you make, the ones you will cherish for a life time.
You grow to be the best person you can be. In this uncertain scary world you grow up. I salute those who have accomplished such feats and gained what they have long deserved.
