It’s time, crusaders. It’s time to pick a side. 
We’re not going to lie, this year was not an easy one. On the one hand, we have the Seahawks, a divisional rival of our beloved Rams, a team that has on many occasions thwarted our team…not nearly as many times as the Rams have thwarted themselves, but nonetheless, they’re a regular rival.
On the other hand, we have the Patriots, the “alleged” cheaters who deprived our beloved Rams of Super Bowl victory by mere inches. A crushing moment that dominates our childhood football memories.
Generally, in the event of such a dilemma, we would resort to a coin toss, but this year it became clear that a coin toss was not the answer. So, in a 2WC Super Bowl first, we will both be rooting for the same team this year. Because sometime’s divisional loyalty just wins out. We’re rooting for the Seahawks.
Call it a cop-out if you will. We prefer NFC West loyalty or not rooting for the Patriots.
Really, at the end of the day, in the absence of our own team in today’s game, we’re pulling for an exciting game. So here’s hoping both teams show up for the game, preferably with fully inflated balls.
