Today marks Twitter’s 10th anniversary; and is also a day to celebrate poetry.
So as you might have deduced, inferred, or surmised; today’s post is a poem on how the time flies.
Twitter is 10, which I just can’t believe; but a world without Twitter? Now that’s hard to perceive.
Ten years of tweets of 140 characters, or less; has changed how we communicate, not always for the best.
It’s helped people speak, who don’t have a voice; but it’s also amplified some unpleasant noise.
From pop stars to politics to battles far and near; Twitter’s made sure the whole world can hear.
Whether you love it, hate it, or don’t really care; it seems pretty clear, Twitter’s not going anywhere.
So here’s to the good, the bad and so-so; happy birthday to Twitter, congrats on the big 1-0!
