Yesterday, the iPhone turned 9.
Yes, believe it or not, the phone that started a whole generation of smart phones is just shy of a decade old. It’s hard to remember what the world was like before, but just for fun, let’s take a moment to remember:
- Emoji looked like this : -) or : -(. If you were feeling fancy, they looked like : -P ; -) : -D.
- If you didn’t know something, like directions or Taylor Swift’s favorite color, you had to either ask someone, or look it up…on a computer.
- If you wanted to check your Facebook or Twitter Account, there was not an app for that.
- People had things called alarm clocks that were not programmed into their phones.
Well, that was fun, and a little scary. I’ll let you get back to your smart phone…which, let’s face it, you’re probably using to read this.
