Vintage Instruments

Hello readers,

Today I'm going to write a little bit about vintage instruments and the classical music that was played with them.

Vintage Instruments

Vintage Acoustic Guitar V880N First of all, I'm going to start with one of my favorite instruments, the guitar. In early 1935, there was a guitar called "A martin 000-28" and is one of many pre-war guitars you can buy!

Secondly, an instrument maybe greater than the one before...  Ukelele's! In 1939 there was a ukelele called "Gibson EH- 185 Lap Steel." And some of these had aluminum head stock, these types are rare nowadays but still available to buy.

Vintage InstrumentsSo now what? We've got the instruments, now what do we play? Well, examples include the celebration of Arnold Schoenberg's transcendence of tonality in chromatic post-tonal and twelve-tone works and Igor Stravinsky's move beyond metrical rhythm. These were all played in the early 20th century as classical vintage music.
