Now that I have your attention I wanted to say hello. I know you're busy and I don't want to keep you too long.
Before I let you get back to it, I wanted to give you something. I had a few seconds to breathe this weekend, and I made you a mixtape...which is actually a playlist, but you get the idea.
The mark of a good mixtape is that it needs no explanation. However, I'm a writer and a hopeless, stubborn idiot who has no idea what she's doing, and who can't leave well enough alone, so bear with me.
It was inspired by a few things. There are some layers, a bit of wordplay, and a move (or two or three) I may have borrowed. It's not perfect, but I will not apologize for the inclusion of Trolls and One Direction. They should be required on every mixtape.
I tested a few of the songs over the weekend and they're best enjoyed belted at a volume that will definitely annoy the neighbors. For maximum enjoyment you're going to want to pair that belting with an overly dramatic, lyrically inspired interpretive dance.
