Happy First Day of Spring! I know, as many of us are looking at more than a few snowflakes in our ten-day forecasts, it’s hard to believe, but technically, it’s spring.
Sure, without the return of warmth, the change in season feels much more theoretical than actual, but I’m choosing to cling to promise of warmer days (they’re coming soon I’m told).
Honestly with the seasons doing as they please, we have bigger things to worry about than a cool start to spring. Like this urgent question: If a winter weather advisory happens after the first day of spring, isn’t it technically a spring weather advisory, or perhaps given the wacky weather patterns we’re now experiencing we can drop the seasonal categorization altogether and just call it a frozen weather advisory?
Clearly, many difficult decisions lie ahead of us.
