Why Have They Stopped Learning?

Posted on the 29 September 2012 by Chhavivatwani @chhavivatwani

When Adam and Eve did take a biteFrom the fruit of the Knowledge tree ripeTo quench their hunger for curiosity, ayeIt were their curse; He punished them right
And like the ancestors, men keepQuenching their curiosityHow far will they go to heedWhat once was their curse to be?
And so it will be a legacyFrom Adam-Eve to a felony-one need do in today's competency.A curse no more; only an irony.
Or so it seems while heads all seemTo look altogetherOne direction is all they seeAnd frown upon all other
And if a man was a free man of God aforeTo eat and drink of the Earth, and more,Must be a prisoner of himself, his ownMust do as his own do, or be cast out, named a traitor.
Curiosity led to his knowledge'Tis his boon as some would knowBut as the man grows knowledgeableHe will hear no more about life, to grow.
Hear no more about peace, as God was wantingPray, why have they stopped learning?Hear no more about love, as God was wantingBless them, why have they stopped learning? And hear no more of what he's not doingOh God, why have they stopped learning?
He will worship no one but what he's doingCursed, yes they have stopped learning.
