It may be the day before Thanksgiving and the busiest travel day of the year, but for millions of Muppets’ fans Christmas has come early.
After 12 long years the Muppets are finally back on the silver screen.
Nothing can bring us down; not holiday travel, and especially not you Muppet-haters (yes, they exist).
For 12 years we’ve suffered through attempted Muppet comebacks. Somewhere along the way they lost their absurdist but witty style of humor.
We’re all still trying to forget the Muppets’ Wizard of Oz. Two icons of American pop culture destroyed at once.
With reviews out and an unheard of 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, we can all sit back, relax and enjoy.
It’s time for some bad jokes courtesy of Fozzie; some excellent heckling from Waldorf and Statler; some karate kicks by Miss Piggy; and of course everyones favorite amphibian host, Kermit the Frog.
Finally, it’s time to meet the Muppets (again).
I guess the only thing left to say is (in the words of Kermit): Yaaay!
