I don’t know if I have mentioned this before, ok I am sure I have. I am a really good neighbour. I don’t want to meet you, I don’t want to talk over the fence with you, I don’t want you to come to my house for coffee. If you are lucky I might smile at you if you happen to make eye contact with me, which I try to avoid at all costs in case any of the above take place.
Well I have talked about my back neighbour before. I don’t know them at all. I have successfully avoided eye contact for over a year. I am totally good with that. But he is making it hard for me to not go over there and have a conversation.
I wasn’t feeling good yesterday, I had a brutal headache and some phantom stomachache to accompany it. Nice. I hate feeling like crap, but my body was telling me to slow down. Stop stressing about things you can’t change and take it easy. So I have been. I feel way better today.
So last night I went to bed about 9:00. This is totally not normal for me, but like I said, I felt like crap. I was sound asleep and then all of a sudden I jolt awake from a noise that is totally out of place at what now is 11:30 at night.
My neighbour is chopping wood.
Yep.
Not kidding.
So lets get this straight.
It is August…check.
It is 11:30 at night…check.
It is a Wednesday night…check.
What. the. fuck. is. he. doing?
That was all I could think, once I actually woke up a little and the fog cleared.
Now is it just me here or is that a little bit nuts?
He is out chopping more now, which makes more sense to me, considering it is 7:00 at night…AND IT IS LIGHT OUT!!!
I mean I understand getting your wood chopped for winter and all, I really do, but buddy…you are trying my freaking patience here…
