A dust has settled
Over the silent eerieness
Of the memories that once were
On the nimble words that
She used to drop in my ears
On her eagerness to
take my opinion
On her passion to
put on a scintillating ensemble
And on her face,
A smile that could electrify
a thousand homes
It isn’t same anymore
