As most of my good ideas go, they came from Health class.
I was sitting, listening to some article the teacher was reading/explaining to us-and writing some lovely thoughts in my friend's agenda (planner, daily schedule, school blah blah blah thing)And I wondered:
Do we tell people how much we care about them, often enough?
Do we demonstrate, through hugs, and shoulder nudges-how much we appreciate people?
Most often, if someone starts doing this a wee bit to regularly, they're cornered and questioned about their suicidal intentions.okay, fine-not *always*, but you get the idea.
I just came to the realization, that without some of my close guy friends, especially at school, my day would be very different. Catastrophic actually.
It's incredible, if you think about it, like Psychology, how instrumental people are in our daily lives. If I didn't walk to school, I think my anxiety would be worse-I'd always be concerned about getting there on time.
If I didn't say good morning to the lunch ladies, my day would be slightly more downcast.
Alright, maybe it's OCD-but-you know? The little things people say and do around us, shape and mold our thoughts, our behavior-everything!
So, maybe the next time you've got a little more spunk in your step, a mere sparkle in your eyes-take advantage of it-
Spread the love, give a compliment or twoAnd watch the magic happen.
Song of the Week:
Someone like You-The Summer Set
This has to be one of my favorite songs as of recent, because it's lovely in the boy's passion and devotion for his girl-and (me being someone who wants to travel the world, and wouldn't mind having someone sing this song to me) is relevant to me!Writing in my book too much-an actual issue right now, Haha.
Meaningful Pic para tu:
Take heart, because it's all you can take. Godbless LizB
