As the rain drops pounced on him
Felt like it has been eternity
Since the time he sat alone
Not remembering what has begone
Crazy droplets mixed up with incandescent memories
Lighting up my heart and then ploughing dead roses
He thought for a moment
About the time well spent
What went wrong she was not to say
For him ’twas finding a needle in the hay
For it was not in his childlike nature
He playfully spent moments one should nurture
He was not to know when she drew away
He keep mumbling sweet nothings while she went sway
He kept to himself the hurt he felt meanwhile
Though its not worth it show his side guile
She was however not drawn too far
Waited only for her suitor with door left ajar
She loved him though in ways a dame could
But for him there were thorns in his way, upright they stood
All was not over for the want ran deep
Hardly any moment they both could sleep
Egos were at war and both wanted to win
What good this love was with only loss than win
Time went by and farther they stood
Love cannot die for all, there it stood
Hopeless can’t describe what was their state
In love ? Oh no, no, no ! You must be kidding mate
I seem to wonder if that’s love’s final fate
Forgetting love like keeping a clean slate
One evening however, Destiny played again
They saw each other, yet all in vain
Spoke hardly but I could see their pain
There was little to lose and too much to gain
But to get this simple logic you need a little working brain

Each of them ready daggers drawn
With only live to slain
Naughtily he asked her, if he was adorable
She said ‘ Oh dear boy ! You are just a probable’
