The little boy was on his way back home from school. He spotted two stray dogs that looked terribly underfed. He felt sorry for them, took out a rather large bar of chocolate from his bag and in a rare act of selflessness, broke it into two and gave one piece each to the dogs.
He didn’t know that chocolate could kill the dogs.A few nights later, he woke up suddenly to the sound of growls. He opened his eyes to see the diabolical shapes of two ferocious dogs. No scream escaped him. He jumped out of the window. The spirits of the dogs chased him.He did not know how far he had come, but he found himself at the end of a high cliff. He turned around. The spirits pounced on him, with their fangs bared. Tears streaming down his face, he took a quick step back and fell into the deep abyss below.He did not scream. He did not utter a single sound.
