America Really Does Have Talent

Posted on the 08 September 2011 by Catem @ImCateM
I'm not much of a reality show watcher even though they seem to be the majority of what's on tv right now.  Maybe I'm in the minority of viewers.  Maybe I'm too old-school.  I just can't help feeling like reality tv is just too fake.
I can't say I ignore all reality shows.  I do lean toward the competition type shows such as Dancing With the Stars and now, America's Got Talent.
This post is just my small congratulations and kudos to the final four acts that are this season's best Talent.
First let me say that as much as I enjoy the acts that make me think "oh my goodness you have guts to actually do that", I enjoy the banter between the judges just as much.  Howie Mandel, Sharon Osborne and Piers Morgan are a riot.  They actually tweet live during the show and it's as much fun to watch and read as the acts themselves.  Well worth tuning in, even when the talent's not.
To the final four - Silhouettes, Team iLuminate, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., and PopLyfe - my heartfelt congratulations.  You are all fabulous!  You have each battled some kind of adversity in your lives and yet you've kept on keepin on.  You inspire us all just by being who you are.  You have so much courage and so much talent!  I don't know how we, America, are ever going to chose just one!  Even if we manage, I'm sure that you all have wonderful opportunities ahead of you.  You are each blessed with a unique talent and my wish for you is that it takes you far but that you never forget where you came from.  To always pay it forward. You represent the heart of America, not only with your talent but by proving that hard work really does pay off in the end and that dreams really can still come true.
Thank you for keeping me glued to my tv each and every week this season.  You are the best of the best!
Good Luck to you all in the finals!  I know you'll amaze us!
