Welcome to the Bold Writer from A to Z. These blog posts are to inspire you as a blogger, a writer, a creative person to be more brave with your writing. With that in mind, there are no absolute rules - instead, scoop up what works for you in the prompts and allow the images and words to be sparks for your creative process both now and in the future.
Now let's go!
B is for.... BEGIN
Mark this time as you begin to increase in your writing boldness.
Our best place to start is wherever we are - you don’t have to prepare to write more boldly, you simply make the choice and then step into the doorway to your new beginning as a bold (or more bold) writer.
You may have some niggling belief that beginning is a risky thing you don’t want to step into. You don’t want to make any radical declarations, “hey world, I’m now a bold writer!” and believe me, this is fine. We are all in the process of discovery and of agreeing with the opinion of Meister Eckhart when he said, ““And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”
Now, onto the prompting:
Quotes
“Begin, be bold, and venture to be wise.”
― Horace

― Meister Eckhart

List 5 to 10 memorable firsts from your life.
Bonus: Use those first to write an essay, a dialogue, a blog post, a poem, a chapter about one of those firsts. You may be inspired, perhaps, to continue.
Traditional Writing Prompts:
When I start at the very beginning, I….
It is time to come clean and tell you what I really think and feel about beginning.... again….
