January 2, 2014….the day after the holiday season. January 2nd means it’s time to move on, time to start anew, time to buckle down and get back to work, time to take down the Christmas lights. Winter break is coming to an end. My kids head back to school on Monday, and I begin a new full-time job. I am seeing these leisure days coming to end so quickly, and reality is beginning to sink in. It is time to get “Back to life, back to reality” just as Soul II Soul sang back in the late 80′s. The song is humming around in my brain…an anthem filled with hope and nerves all at the same time.
