Bata Shoe Museum and Gardiner MuseumToday I went to The Bata Shoe Museum.
It took one hour to get there.
The Museum was big.
It had a lot of shoes.
It was interesting.
There was a lot of weird stuff there.
I thought these chairs looked cool, but they weren't very comfortable.
The parents on the trip looked and dressed like their kids.
The Museum had four floors.
I packed a lunch of V8 Golden Autumn Carrot Soup,
it was not very good, in fact most Campbell soups seem to be gross.
Bata Shoe Museum and Gardiner MuseumThe picture on the left is of shoes that were owned by a rich person in India a long time ago. They are solid gold and are made so the rich person will look taller and more powerful than everyone else.
The three pictures below are of shoes that were made a long time ago in China. The shoes were for Chinese women. They said they would bend the bones in their feet when they were kids so they would have small feet. They had to take good care of their feet and their feet would always be in pain. The average length of their feet was three inches.

This picture is of a shoe people used to use to swish down snow to make a path.
I wish I had those shoes it would be easier to walk in those shoes than shovel the driveway.

The shoe on the left was used to open chestnuts.
The shoe on the right was used to train astronauts.

This shoe was made for a famous basketball player.

Next I went to the Gardiner Museum. I made a shoe out of clay. Mine was suppose to look like a Croc.I had fun. I would recommend visiting both places.Bata Shoe Museum and Gardiner Museum
