You haven’t seen
The places I have been
The ugliness behind the faces
The rut in between sheer blank spaces
The lie on the lips
And the ego that it lifts
You haven’t seen the darkness
I have seen
Where Light go lost
And the emotions gather frost
You haven’t been in my past
You haven’t seen the trials I did last
You haven’t seen the trivia I survived
You haven’t counted the times i was tried
And I have lived through my struggles
And i have lived through my pain
And I tell you this
Fighting these battles
These battles are the ones
I wanted to give up
Alone I was,
No warming hearts to comfort
But i learnt mending my strain
And it propelled me
With all might that i possessed
So I may never lose again..
