Next week marks the end of my first semester of Grad School. I’m about to be on Winter Break, which is something I haven’t experienced in 20-something years. Is it okay to toot my own horn a bit, because I have to tell you all that I’m kind of proud of myself. Who knew that Grad school would be this awesome? One semester, and though it’s been a ton of work, I’m coming out unscathed. Now a little break with a few weeks of reading non-educational romance novels that do nothing intellectual for me at all. I’m psyched for the reprieve of escapism, and I’m looking forward to seeing what my new courses will have to offer.
