Last year I was privy to be apart of “Plant a Kiss Day”. It is based on the whimsical book: Plant a Kiss by: Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s which is illustrated by Peter H. Reynolds. Today, I Am very happy to be apart of it again.
Thank You Sherry Richert Belul! She is the creative innovator of Simply Celebrate . It is always refreshing to see someone promoting others to use their gifts of arts , listening , talking and love of life. For the benefit of making a conscious effort to making someone we love or never have met happy.
As for me like most of us who work in the public, we tend do this often. By, going out of our way to make someone feel better about themselves. I, by my own terms am a image stylist/ personal shopper, by trade, five days a week. So, putting effort in others is easy. Yet, I do it joyfully and besides it’s a lot of fun.
But, what’s hard sometime is to see random acts of kindness from others. Also because, I’am and on the go. I forget to let my mother know how grateful I’am for her help. So, before I went off looking for good people, I taped this to the fridge for mother to see. But, of course I will do this through pictures
The first person I met today was this guy, ( behind the tree. He’s looking into his camera . We both were trying to take a picture of this Great Egret. Before, I met this gentlemen I thought this was just a lovely Crane. So, not only has my new friend educated me. But, he shared his beautiful photography with me. he really needs a site. it’s awe-mah-zing. Thank You and Blessings where every you are. R.B.
This lady was kind enough to stop playing with puppy so, I could take a picture of him. His name is Bali and he’s a chocolate lab. He’s so, cute a loveable, too.
Over all, I would love to thank my neighbors and neighborhood. I never met most of them until today and it was truly great meeting them. Including, the convent store owner who let me post a “Free Positive Thoughts “ Flyer that I got over at: “Kindness Over Matter” http://www.kindovermatter.com
And to make my matters better, I shared all my pictures of today with my mother. We had a smile and some laughs. Regardless, of the fact she, was concerned about a lady having her dog off the lease. Well, such is life.
However, I want to continue to let her know how much I appreciate her. I want to keep getting to know people. Because, I know it may not seem like it, but, I’am terribly shy and nervous around new people. It’s because of this that everyone today gifted, an awkward women with confidence. Thank You, all for your unknown acts of kindness.~Leah
