Bend

I am a rider
Riding through ditches
Dirt, stones, mud, pebbles
Air, stench, smoke, fog
Mist, and the bends
I ride through everything
One after the other
But there's one thing about the bends
I love them
Bend

Those hairpin bends
Those right angled bends
Those sharp sharp bends
Remind me of her
Callously misleading
Make you go the other way
Without telling you
Where is the way
What lies ahead
But pushing you
To choose one
And they want you to choose wisely
It's a test of patience
And character
Which I, in all probability
not a good exponent of
But I choose
I choose the right bend
It takes me on a ride
One that is worth every bit of the effort that was put into it
Every unit of pain it caused
I explored that bend
Like no one ever could have
And we loved each other
Unconditionally, irrevocably
And we did not tell, anybody
But it was evident
At last, I felt it was worth the dilemma
That I was in
I was content, now
For I made
The right choices
When pressed to..
