Blisters

Blisters are awful.

I don't care who you are, they suck.
Don't even try to argue!
They're horrible.
So, as I've mentioned afore. I'm working on a book. And as I was typing out the conversation I was "listening" to, (if you're an author this makes sense, like, you imagine the actual conversation!), and my character, Jacob (some minor character I made up tonight, haha), said something incredible:
"I pity the man who does not find his life a gift. For great will be his loss."
So, thanks imagination, you just proved that something actually goes on in this mind of mine!
But, I mean-think about that.

Finding life a gift.

What makes something a gift?

Definition of gift (n)

  • gift
  • [ gift ]
  1. something given: something that is given to somebody, usually on order to provide pleasure or to show gratitude
  2. special talent: a natural ability that somebody appears to have been born with, especially an artistic ability or social skill
  3. act of giving: the act of giving something to somebody
We're gonna go with definition number 1 first. Life is a gift, because it's given to us, that we might find pleasure, or something pleasing to us, in it. Does that make sense? Life is given, so that we could find something good in it, something "for us" to make us, "happy". Defenition 2, nah. Definition 3: Life is a gift, as it is is gifted to another human being. This reflects on how you receive your gift. If you receive your gift, and start using he "pleasing" wuality you find in your gift each day, and start sharing it with ohers, you gift them a happy life. You start showing them how life is a gift, how incredible it is to see your entire being, waking up and breathing alive each morning, as though someone had spent all of their priceless joy, happiness and love into giving you this precious gift. Life. Is yours a gift? I know mine is. :) Godbless, LizB
