Like an upside down girl, blood swelled her head and all the water and air and lightness rose in a bubble, pressing at her sides and pushing against her skull, threatening to explode her. Lights clamor in her sightlines, her heart thrumming in her heartlines, and she can only speak in tongues and whispers and pretending. This is not real life. She needs to wake up and I would try to do it but I’m too far away and I’m the one holding the camera so I really can’t get involved. All I can do is show you. She needs to wake up.
