Certainity
Breaking up isn't always easy
Sometimes you have to let go of things,
things that pull you back
Chain you down,
it is tough to break out, and
it is the hardest thing to do
Especially when your mornings were soulful once,
and the days shiny and bright
ridiculous messages,
numeous unanswered calls
Some thoughtful gifts
and clandestine meetings,
Some well planned evenings
the times the clock stopped
right in the middle of it
with your eyes stuck at each other
there are no words
only eyes talk
hearts listen
and melt
into each other
Those are the happy days
which remain entrenched
in the memory castle
And then one day out of the blue
the sand castle collapses
tempers run riot
fingers are pointed
words become swords
egos collide
and we,
we struck each other
with words,
Words we hardly mean,
but only if,
if somebody could have put some sense into me,
and in her too,
We could have been different
together,
even after our differences,
but,
It won't have it,
The Fate
the cruel bastard
It has to play spoilsport
and judge us,
well !
I will live,
Not happily ever after,
and certainly not together
but i will survive
Because besides you,
That is the only thing
I was always so sure of...
