That's right! It's Cinco de Mayo today and the crazy ass drunks are out and about. Not to mention, it's a full moon tonight. And not just any full moon, but a supermoon! Google supermoon and read up about it.Anyway, I've heard so much about "bla bla bla the full moon made me do it"; "bla bla bla if it wasn't for the full moon, the booze wouldn't have affected me that way". Umm yeah, I call bullshit! You are a drunk, wino, alcoholic who just using the full moon as an excuse. Well! I take offense to that!
If you are found drunk off your ass any "normal" day, and are found drunker than usual today......it's not the full moon asshat! It's Cinco de Mayo and for some reason, American's think this is the day they can splurge on booze and get away with whatever mischief they get into.
Officer: Do you know why we pulled you over?
Driver: Umm no.... (slurring)
Officer: Well you were swerving and crossing the center line.
Driver: Oh the dang blasted full moon was blinding me and I swerved a bit.
Yeah, shut up you asshat! Ugh! Fess up you were out drinking because it's "Ok to be a drunk asshat day", and deal. Damn alchi's! Pisses me off!

On another note, the hubs and I had dinner tonight with our good friends. Good time as usually bullshitting about cars, furbabies, jobs, etc. I enjoy hanging with friends but don't do it too often. There's always something that keeps us from one another.I'm sitting here now, majorly bummed because (1) it's freakin overcast outside; (2) it's chilly outside; and (3) looks like I won't be seeing the supermoon from my deck and mediating under the moonlight. Grrr....very irritated about that. "Someone" just didn't want me to see it.
Anywho......... what did you do on Cinco de Asshat day? Are you are partying like the other gazillion people in the world? Are you acting like an asshat already? Or are you sitting back in your jammies watching some lamo movie on tv like me? ;)
Whatever you got into today, I do hope you were safe and didn't make a complete asshat of yourself. :) But on the other hand, if you did, I hope you have links available for the youtube videos! :)
