Community

Looking for gifts in my community is something  needed for me to do. It’s something that one must regard seriously, in order to cheer yourself up. As, I’ am in need of  some cheering up at this moment. Because, of  personal reasons, that I would wish not  to reveal, via  this post. As I  just want to let them go, for now. Because, there’s a new minute. A new hour approaching and I want to appreciate it. By, looking for positive opportunities.

I have been looking forward to this since bedtime last night. Because, a few days ago, a fellow, Iger (instagramer) MetaCyn, told me about a book called  One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. I joyfully thanked, However, I  put the book in the back of my mind. Until now, after viewing a personal account of another InstaFriend  and blogger. I notice all her photos were hashtaged with  Ms. Voskamp book’s  title  and #joydare.

So, I  immediately went to Google at 1 a.m, yesterday morning.  I noted that this was the book that Cynthia, (MetaCyn) had recommended to me. I further, went through every  Inspirational links on Ann’s  site.  She’s  generous to her readers to say the least. I personally found  encouragement thou  her personal journal: A Holy Experience and  the Upside Down Bloggers Prayer and badge. I  Highly Recommend  going to her page. It’s a lovely read with some beautiful music in the background all need is your favorite warm cup of non-alcohol comfort beverage .

Sorry, I am just overcome with excitement of being introduce to this awesome women’s work. That, I lost track a bit. Anyway, I’am sure you will find that  it isn’t surprising that I would take part of the Joy Dare: http://www.aholyexperience.com/joy-dares/ . on her site. Especially, because, I have been wanting to become part of group  who have the same belief as I do. Will, this  change the content here? Maybe. But, I will always take part of anything that is peaceful and positive without judgment. But, when your sharing God’s blessings, I just have to share.

Having that understanding. Let see what I found for my first Joy Dare. As you can gather it’s about community. We needed to find 3 gifts in our communities. It’s probably needless to say I went out today, looking for  those gifts .

While doing so, I discover a few  wonderful things today:

*One) That , my workplace is like a pseudo family,  And, because of that, I, sometimes need to go on walks,. I need to walk in order to discover different faces and spaces. Because of be able to have that moment of their understanding today. Was a gift for me.

*Two) As typical as it sounds. But, it’s true finding Ms. Ann’s ,Joy Dares is a gift.

*Three) I understand that I’m part of some nurturing and giving  communities.  Also, that community isn’t just where live. But, any place where your part of a group. And Love this,, I needed to know this as well.
