I am the dark lull before the storm
Silent and terrifying
inevitable like the long loneliness
of the earth between two springs
i walk into your life
like the morning breeze of the ocean
filling all the voids that remained
with shades of blue, red, lilac
and i leave behind
sadness of a death
and reminiscents,
of black, white and grey
I am the rainbow you see
before the onset of spring
and I am the boredom of autumn
I am ubiquitous
like a belief of divinity
in the staunchest of athiests
I am destruction
I am hope
I am faith
I am dope
I am love
and i am hate
I am the color you need me to be
I am cursed to live for eternity
I am your worst nightmare
and i am that recurring dream
I am that last strand of peace
that takes you to serenity
I am conscious
