This morning while I was enjoying a nice bowl of Overnight Oats [with Chia Seeds, instead of Flaxseed]
I was flipping through The Week Magazine and came across this quick blurb about another reason to work out… the COREGASM!
“some woman experience sexual pleasure through exercise alone – no partner, toys, or even sexual thoughts required – and the best trigger seems to be working out the core abdominal muscles… online surveys reach[ed] hundreds of women who said they’d experienced sexual pleasure during exercise. Of those who claimed that exercise brought on a full-blown orgasm, 51% said it first occured during an abs workout. Other cited weight lifting (27%), yoga (20%), biking or spinning (19%)…”
Clearly, exercise can bring sheer joy!! hehe.
Sorry if this offends anyone, but I thought it was wicked interesting and wanted to share. I personally have never experienced anything like this, but hey, there is a first time for everything, right??!?!
I guess I have heard about it with biking and spinning, but never with any other form of exercise. Have you heard of people experiencing this (or have you experienced it?!) [I kept giggling as I type, I am so immature]
Weekly workout recap
This week was a little light on the exercise front, I was super busy with work and moving to BOSTON!
Easter Sunday
Vinnie and I went for a quick run to explore our new neighborhood. Having my Garmin for these types of runs is so helpful. We just ran around the neighborhood and when it got close to 4 miles we headed home. During the 4 mile run, I ran into 2 college friends from my days at Middlebury! It is such a small world!
Monday
My brother, Willie, and I went for a nice hike up Mt.Agamenticus. It was more of a walk than a hike but nonetheless, it’s always fun to be out in the woods exploring.
Wednesday
Elliptical for 60 min. I watched my new favorite show, Smash, on my iPhone as I ellipticized. The NBC app (ABC too) is great for watching the episodes you missed throughout the week.
Thursday
I got up early and got my workout done. I really need to do that more, my day is always better when I exercise in the morning. I ran over 5 miles before 7:30 am, pretty sweet!
Question:
How was your week of workouts? Did you get some go sweat sessions in?
