Malcolm D. Lee
(For the smart-asses out there, yes, men can be diamonds too.) Simply put: Film director, Malcolm D. Lee, definitely deserves this award because people are still talking about his hit film, The Best Man Holiday. When I become a best-selling author, I hope that my work has such an impact on the lives of others, that even grown men cry…just like they did when they saw this movie. I absolutely love the fact that the characters of this film were very successful individuals in their own right and educated. Don’t get me wrong; there’s nothing wrong with writing story lines of any genre just as long as you’re writing something that touches the soul of the audience. However, it’s a remarkable thing to be able to see a movie that anyone can relate to, no matter what race or creed you are. Kudos to you, Mr. Lee, for making an awesome film for all to enjoy for years to come.
