The Diamond of the Week award goes to:
City of Cleveland
Although Cleveland, Ohio is my hometown, I didn’t wanna spend the rest of my life there. And I still don’t. I’ve been in Georgia for over ten years and I’ve been used to their way of doing things. However, I do plan to move back to Cleveland for 1 year (two years MAX) to regroup and get things financially in order for myself. Sometimes when things in your life are going crazy, you have to start back at the drawing board. So in September of this year, I will be there and taking two years to get myself together and come back to Georgia, STRONG. I can’t speak for anybody else but getting the chance to start over with a clean slate is extremely exciting for me and is the best birthday gift to myself. Besides, with all the NEW project developments (Rocksino, Horseshoe Casino, Chocolate Bar, etc.) along with other upcoming developments that the city is currently building up, I most certainly won’t be bored. Furthermore, I still have my writing career and various other projects that I’m working on to keep my creative feet moving. So I’ll give a huge goodbye to my past and I look forward to what’s in store for Sonica Jackson, The Brand.
