I fucking hate gender roles. They are so old school and bull shit but everyone still conforms to them I have spent all day researching male/female relationship looking though yahoo answers is a good way to really get the raw truth about how people think. I will give you a run down of what I found; girls are all looking for ways to get guys to like them more and talk to them more, where as guys are all looking for ways to make girls like them more and talk to them more. If you weren't paying attention they both want the same thing! The guy want find a good way to ask the girl out and the girl wants to find ways to get the guy to ask her out!
This is what pisses me off why does the guy have to make the move. It is stressful as shit, you don't know if she likes you like that, hell it is even hard to tell if she likes you at all. Ladies you have to meet us half way if you like a guy... make the move!!! I guaranty he also likes you. And if worst case scenario he doesn't like you: at least you aren't wasting your time anymore, you can move on to the next guy. And guys, don't be shy, I am and it pisses me off I know I am a fucking good guy and I'm decent looking. I know if I wasn't a pussy I wouldn't be a 18 year old virgin; I would probably have a great girl friend and we would be in love it isn't that hard to see. If you're a young bro in high school just know that the girl you have your eyes on WILL go out with you, and probably enjoy it! You just have to build up the balls to ask her out. And to all the LG's out there reading this there is nothing wrong with asking out a guy, he won't think you are weird for doing it, he will most likely wet his pants with excitement. I'm not going to lie there are a lot of jerks out there. Make sure you pick the right guy, the good ones are usually not the ones that will openly hit on anything with with a vagina. He does that because that is all he wants, your vagina. The one that you want is the one who won't talk to you because he doesn't know what to say, it is easy to get laid but starting a relationship isn't the same thing. You have to be honest and sincere, you can't just manipulate her do do what you want.
Another thing I want to talk about is careers, and jobs. My little sister wants to be a nurse when she grows up, how fucking stereotypical is that. Where is the ambition? I don't mean to talk shit about nurses but THAT is her dream! Her vision of what she wants to be, for her whole life, just holding a position doing the dirty work for the doctors. And that is sooo damn common in my grad class of like 30 people so like 15 girls, like 5 of them wanted to be nurses. That is some fucked up shit! And they have these expectations of what they want to be for years! All my sister has ever wanted to be is a nurse, she is 13 that is a lot of fucking time to hold 1 dream. I am at the other side of the spectrum but still; here is a run down on the careers I have seriously considered just in the last few years: fighter pilot, commercial pilot, structural engineer, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, computer engineer, software designer, soldier, privet detective, police officer, bounty hunter, professional blogger, community radio station host. Those are just the ones that were on the top of my head if I kept going I could fill pages. Don't limit your self!!! Especially girls!! You can do anything you don't have to limit your self to the normal careers for women, hell you don't even have to stick to the normal careers for men I don't do something weird and fun! REALLY think about this. Do you actually want to be a nurse? Helping old people clean them selfs, and emptying their colostomy bags. NOOO you don't!! find something you DO want to do and don't let people tell you your ideas aren't good just because they aren't normal.
