I have spent the last 4 days on vacation with my hubby. It’s amazing how much you can see and do in 4 days, and we have felt like we’re a world away from everything in our lives…most importantly our children.
It has been an incredible escape from our responsibilities, and I have loved having this shared experience with the man I love. I know we will always remember this incredible vacation fondly and am so happy to have it attached to our 10th wedding anniversary.
Today we head home, and we can’t wait to give hugs, kisses and souvenirs aplenty to our kiddos. It will be awesome to share photos and stories, and when the responsibilities once again become overwhelming, we will look back on these 4 perfect days together.
That said, for these last few moments of solitude, my mantra is “Don’t Worry Be Happy.” Not having a care in the world certainly brings about happiness, and so, Bobby McFerrin and his “voicestra” is an excellent choice for my song of the day.
