Dreams and Fairy Tales

Posted on the 13 January 2012 by Paige
Things I lost my mind over today: ratios, fractions, my number line beads that broke and fell all over the floor and that my sister is a copy cat.
Did you know that you have about four to seven dreams a night, dream for about two hours per night, spend a third of you life sleeping? Over your life you will have spent six years dreaming. You usually forget your dream within ten minutes of waking up. You will remember your dream better if someone wakes you up rather than if you wake up in the morning by yourself. Did you also know that you cannot dream when you're snoring and some people dream in black and white? I think a black and white dream would be creepy. Once I had a cartoon dream.
My mom and I started watching Once Upon a Time on http://www.ctv.ca/. It's about fairytale characters that got cursed by the evil queen and sent to earth. Only one boy knows about the curse and who everyone really is. I like it because it's interesting how fairy tales are very much alike to real life but being sent to earth from a fairytale land would be a pretty good punishment. No more happily ever after!

I've now read four Emily the Strange books. Well one was a comic book and the other was a picture book. I'm now on the fifth. All the books are connected, and Emily is really cool. There is also an Emily the strange website. I'm kind of weird like Emily the Strange. http://www.emilystrange.com/
We went grocery shopping today. I saw a lady that looked like Crystal from Roseanne. My sister thought so too. We needed to use two carts because we haven't gone shopping for awhile. We also bought soft fleece sheet sets for all of us that were on clearance for under ten dollars and they finally had the large bags of calrose rice again.
Today me and Mom watched a documentary called Mugabe And The White African it was about white farmers who got kicked out of Zimbabwe.
