Dubstep and Old People

I was down at the lake today kayaking with my brother, sister, and my dad. There was this boat out on the water just blasting some Skrillex. Both of my siblings and I like Dubstep, me and my brother are both very into music. My dad said "what is that shit they are playing?" He hated it, and I'm not sure why; I mean Dubstep is a very "experimental" genre but I don't understand why older people don't stick with the times!
It seems like I just like whatever is good and new and yeah there is some old music that I like but I would never stick to one genre or one time in history. My dad and any other old person I have ever seen just for some reason only likes the music that they grew up with, they never try to stay on top of the trends and when they hear something more modern they don't like it, they don't even give it a chance.
But what ever this wasn't a very interesting post or very long, and it wasn't a very good topic to begin with so whateves BYE BYE EVERYONE!!!! SEE YOU NEXT TIME!!!
