With Easter this weekend I wanted to find some fun things to make and do for the Holiday. Vinnie and I are moving so we won’t be spending the holiday with our families which means I am going to be responsible for making the Holiday feel special. Since I consider myself one of the least creative people I know. I did some googling to find some cool Easter ideas and I thought I would share them with all of you!
- Make your own super cute fabric Easter basket. Amy at NanaCompany explains in detail each step on how to make these little fabric baskets which is so nice, because lord knows I need detailed instructions.
2. Deviled Eggs are an easy classic for parties and pot-lucks. Why not make the white hard-boiled egg dyed pastal and festive?? For detailed instructions here is how to make Colorful Easter Deviled Eggs!
3. Lindi @ Love the Day gives a super simple explanation of how easy it is to make Easter Bark. All you do is melt a block of white chocolate chips in the microwave then while it’s melted add sprinkles and your favorite Easter goodies. Let cool on your counter and break apart. So colorful…so festive….so, so yummy.
4. Paint your nails all pretty and pastal-ey.
5. Make some Bunny Bait (recipe adapted from Sing for your Supper) which is some dolled up popcorn concoction which I would devour in one sitting, definitely.
Ingredients:
1 bag microwave popcorn, popped
6 oz. white chocolate candy coating
1 bag Easter M&Ms
approximately 1 cup pretzel sticks, broken into small pieces
colorful sprinkles, if desired
Directions:
Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl with the broken up pretzels and M&Ms. Heat the candy coating in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each time, until melted and smooth. Then, chow down on the Bunny Bait.

It’s Friday, so let’s do a weekly work out roundup. Lindsay organizes a great link-up over on her blog called FLOW where you can find other great workouts by other bloggers.
Saturday

Sunday
I ran the ‘outer loop’ trail around my parents house. It was about 40 minutes and wicked hilly. I couldn’t get my Garmin to locate a satellite so I don’t have an accurate read on how long it was or what my pace was.
Monday

Tuesday
Ran the Lighted Loop
And did the below workouts
Wednesday
I did a Tabata workout and an upper body routine but I blogged about that yesterday so you can click over and check out the workout.
Thursday
To motivate myself to get a workout in, I downloaded the ABC app to my iphone. I am way behind on the episodes, so I figured while I did a nice steady-state I would watch an episode. Killing two birds with one stone. Multitasking is what I am all about!
I ended up doing a 65 minutes bike ride. I never bike so it was a good change of pace. My legs burned and I worked up a huge sweat!
This week I didn’t work out as consistently as previous weeks, but I still managed to get some good workouts in and I have fallen in love with Tabata work outs!
