Electric Currents in My Brain

Posted on the 18 September 2013 by Juliejordanscott @juliejordanscot

Electric Currents in My Brain Sometimes I think I would like to see the electric currents that run through my brain..... I have fallen behind on some of the prompted writing I so enjoy. Today I visited my friends at #blogflash and found a prompt from the thirteenth. The theme is electricity. This is what I wrote:

Sometimes I think I would like to see the electric currents that run through my brain. Why is it that I can be doing a load of laundry and while waiting to put the fabric softener into the mix, I stand in my garage with the washer and dryer and find some old stuff put away, long ago a project that never became anything more than remnants and suddenly the synapses start firing.

I get excited and my brain starts making connections so that these “lost” items are now front and center in one of the projects I am working on right now.

I wasn’t looking for anything, I was just waiting and my curiosity lead me to a manila envelope which lead me to paper photo puzzle pieces which lead to an electrical explosion of my intellect and creative impulse and in a flash, away I went – passion alerted and the next step ready to be taken. Electricity.
