Father's Day weekend was a lot of fun around here. We went on all kinds of adventures that included a trip to a motorcycle rally and getting eggs out of the chicken coop.
For the motorcycle rally we dressed up in our "tough girl" clothes, which involved a t-shirt and vest (nordstrom style) for me, and a denim skirt and Chuck Taylor's for the baby. The Boyfriend wore camo shorts, per usual, so I didn't take a picture of his outfit ;).

We spent Sunday with family. This involved a trip to The Boyfriend's Dad and Step Mom's "farm" they have in town. The Baby got to chase around baby chickens, and then get some eggs out of the coop.
She learned to hunt for Easter Eggs really well, but didn't get the idea that these eggs were not plastic. We came out of the ordeal with two dozen eggs... but 4-5 didn't make it through the journey because she PLOPPED them straight into the bucket. It was really adorable.
I made The Boyfriend a canvas after being inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest. He says he loves it. I hope so, because this craft-inept girl spent at least nine hours on it! I'll probably post more specifically on how I did it later.
I wish I could have spent some time with my Dad, but hopefully he knows how much I miss him now that I've moved back to Small Town.
