It's Friday!! Wahoo! Not only do I get to wear jeans today, I'm also in a t-shirt because I'm sporting my pretty cranberry-red leather jacket. You can't wear a leather jacket with a lawyer style blouse. That's a fact. Ha!
In other news, I turn 27 in 16 days. There will be a big announcement around that time, so hold onto your seats, people. Plus, it just occurred to me that I could make a 28 before 28, and that, to be honest, makes me want throw up a little bit. I definitely do not want to be 27, and I sure as heck don't want to be 28 even though I have a feeling that will be the best year yet. Getting old is rough, ladies. Let's talk about Christmas instead.
1. "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is..." supposedly singing loud for all to hear... but I've never watched Elf so that's totally hearsay. I think it's being kind and loving to everyone... even the jerk in the BMW who cut me off at high speed in a construction zone this morning .

2. The holiday season is usually full of travel and expenses. I'm also not normally a super holiday-freak. I like my birthday and I like Christmas, but I don't go crazy decorating or counting down the days. This year I'm a lot more interested than usual, so I think that's weird.3. When it comes to holiday decorating... I don't normally do anything. I haven't had a Christmas tree in years. But this year I made a wreath and might make a few other things. 4. The thing I look forward to most about the holidays is Getting to spend time with family, even though I just said I was glad I won't be traveling.

5. My favorite holiday tradition is opening Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve {Me too, Lauren!}. One year my mom thought we were getting too old for it and when we opened something else on Christmas Eve we were all (in our teenage years by this point) so bummed!!!6. This year my Christmas plans include Nothing. My Community Group is going to a Christmas light show and having an Ugly Christmas Sweater party this month, but nothing on Christmas day. Strangely, I'm looking forward to it. My life is slowly settling down and next week I {ugh!} start studying for the bar exam again. I need some peace and quiet. 7. My favorite holiday food is ham! yum!
