I woke up bright and early to do my LiveFit trainer workout which focused on the back muscles. I also did 30 minutes on the elliptical.
Before headed to the gym I had a big mug of Earl Grey tea and an apple.
On my drive to work I realized I left my lunch at home. I had made a giant salad and packed a bunch of snacks but ended up with nothing.
So for lunch I went to the local health food store, Philbricks Fresh Market, to make a salad at their fabulous salad bar. Fresh Market is the closet thing I have to a Wholefoods.
I love this store, everything is so good but so expensive. The apples were almost twice per pound as at my normal grocery store. I know, all food is organic and fresh.
Regardless of the price, my lunch was delicious!
I loaded up my salad with mixed greens, spinach, lots of veggies, roasted brussel sprouts and organic balsamic vinegar.
And for a after lunch snack I had some Lake Champlain Chocolates. I love this chocolate and especially love how it is from Vermont, my second home! I thought that I got a mint dark chocolate flavor, but it turns out it was just straight up dark chocolate. It was the perfect treat to satisfy my sweet tooth.
Dinner was another big salad and some chicken and lots of snacking on m Foodie Pen Pal package that showed up. You will just have to check back on March 1st to see what I got!
While watching my favorite Tuesday night shows, I ate some popcorn and chugged some h20. I am so thirsty lately.
