From My Dash to Yours

Posted on the 17 February 2015 by Lizb12 @elizabethbrinks
Tumblr is a keeper for so many reasons, but just in case you don't have one-here's what's strolling through my dashboard right now:
mooncactus:
if you are a young thing i have one piece of advice for you: being enthusiastic and happy about things you love is more important than being apathetic and snide. you will go so much farther in life spending energy on and talking about something you love than wasting energy on only complaining about or making fun of something you don’t.  don’t focus on mocking others for being genuinely excited about something. focus on the things and people you love.

Wake up early. Drink coffee. Work hard. Be ambitious. Keep your priorities straight, your mind right and your head up. Do well, live well and dress really well. Do what you love, love what you do. It is time to start living.

if u don’t enjoy coffee u are missing out not only on coffee but also coffee culture which is just the culture of other people enjoying coffee in places like coffee shops which are great as everyone knows

Coffee addicts are everywhere, hahaha
Hypocrisy turns people against God, so He has a no-tolerance policy. Let’s take hypocrisy as seriously as God does. For starters, expect no credit for good deeds. None! If no one notices, you aren’t disappointed. If someone does, you give the credit to God. If no one knew of the good you do, would you still do it? If not, you’re doing it to be seen by people.

the 7 y/o boy who lives next door doesn’t want to go in the house to bed and i just heard his dad use the old “you live under my roof, you live by my rules” and the kid just shouted back “im not under your roof im under the sky and thats god’s roof and he wants me to play out for longer!” i can’t stop laughing.
update: now he’s scootering down the street singing ‘we didn’t start the fire’ while his dad chases him

And one last one, in lieu of Valentines Day:
Be with a guy who still opens the car door for you even when he’s mad at you.
— (via anna-tran) So many notes but this is my life (via sarahhkincaidd) So, God bless and may your Type A tendencies be lessened, and your Romantic views on life blossom into something beautiful. And may His face shine upon you, and your dark clouds of anger and anxiety fade away. Do some stretching, you never know what you'll find. LizB
