The other day, on a whim, we decided to get out of town and drive a couple of hours to Bisbee, AZ for a good meal and some shopping. Our kids were with us and our daughter’s friend, too, and they all knew of Bisbee well. In the past, they had gone on a popular copper mine tour there on field trips, but nonetheless, they were all very curious about Bisbee’s main attraction – the Copper Queen Hotel.
They knew of the hotel, because it is known to be one of the most haunted hotels in the world. The hotel even sells a “ghost hunt” package. CLICK HERE to check it out complete with a tour of the most haunted floor, a late night snack, and ghost hunter equipment with training by a professional ghost hunter.
The kids were scared to enter into the hotel, but as we walked around a bit and nothing scary was happening, they eased up. It wasn’t until later when we were looking at our pictures that the terror began to set in. Here’s the picture in question:

The kids are sitting on a sofa, and on the wood furniture behind them on the left side, there is a blur of light. My husband responded by saying that it must have been a reflection off of the mirror. Only, there’s no mirror on that piece of furniture. That’s a desk behind them, and there’s no explanation for that blur.
I’m not a big believer in paranormal activity, but it is kind of fun that we found our very own “ghost.” The kids, of course, were flipping out. Another night of sleeping in Mommy & Daddy’s bed, because eek gads – what if a ghost comes?
So, the song of day is in honor of our ghostly photo. Enjoy the very lovely “Ghost” song by the Indigo Girls. Boo!
