On Sunday Mom, Dad, sister and I went to Great Wolf Lodge with Aunt Vic, (Uncle) Will, Charlotte, Noah, and four of my friends and their parents. We checked in and went to the water park as soon as we got there (we got there at about 1:30). We went on water slides and swam with our friends.
My friends, Olivia and Maya are really tall now and I look like a hobbit beside them.
We went to our rooms at about 5:30.
Mom, Dad, sister (age 10) and I (age 12) stayed in room 4089, Aunt Vic, Will, Charlotte (age 3) and Noah (age 1) stayed in the room beside us room 4091, Olivia (age 12), Jessica (age 10) and their parents stayed in room 4082 and Maya (age 12), Kevin (age 10) and their parents stayed in room 4110.
We went to the all you can eat buffet restaurant on the second floor of the hotel for dinner, with Aunt Vic, Will, Charlotte and Noah.
I ate;
a bowl of mushroom stuffed ravioli
half a cup of potato salad
some stir-fried vegetables
half a baked potato
a scoop of vanilla ice cream
and some pudding.
I felt like I was going to be sick after I finished eating, so I said "Mom I don't feel so good can we go back to the room?!" then Mom and Dad had a little argument over how they were going to pay the bill and while that was happening I walked out of the restaurant and waited for the elevator. Mom caught up with me and we got in the packed elevator, we went up to the fourth floor (the floor our room was on). I walked out of the elevator and sat on one of the couches. Mom said "What are you doing? Come on, Let's go back to the room.". I gagged, ran to the garbage can and vomited then said "I'm good now.". I got some puke on my pants, but I felt better after I barfed. I don't think anyone noticed me, but Mom pretended like she didn't know me. I think there was more than one reason I threw up because I don't throw up often.
The reasons why I think I threw up are:
- I ate too much
- I was a bit dehydrated because I didn't drink anything all day at the water park
- The elevator made me a bit dizzy
- The chocolate pudding was gross
- I saw someone pick their nose and eat it at the restaurant
After that we went back to the room and I took a shower. Then we went to Maya and Kevin's room and played Headbandz with them. Then some other people I didn't know came over so we left. On the way back to our room Olivia and Jessica invited us to go to the arcade with them. Mosey and Jessica decided to run to the arcade when we got to the first floor but Olivia and I just walked to the arcade. When we got their we looked around Mosey and Jessica weren't there, so we went to find them. We ran around the hotel and got all sweaty but couldn't find them. We ran into Dad and he told to just go to the arcade. When we got there the second time they we there. The arcade now has a lot of cool new games like Fruit Ninja and Super Monkey Ball. Everything was moved around and they painted it brighter and there was also a huge Connect 4.
In the morning me and sister took Charlotte on the Wolf Walk with us because I felt bad we missed Story Time with her the night before. The Wolf Walk is in the lobby everyday at 9a.m., you sit on the carpet and someone talks about wolves, bears, moose and trees, then you make a origami wolf.
Thankfully when we got home swimming lessons were canceled because someone puked in the pool just before our lesson was scheduled.
