Truth be told, Kilwins operates all year-long. During Fall though, you can drop in for ice cream flavors including Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie. Spoiler Alert: The Apple Pie was way better!
Located in Town Center in Celebration, Kilwins recreates an old-fashioned ice cream shop experience with treats everyone can enjoy. From chocolate cases to their homemade waffle cones, really there isn’t any way to go wrong no matter what you try!
After our trip to the pumpkin patch, we dipped in try out the Apple Pie ice cream. Not only does it truly taste like apple pie, but it is also amazing! While enjoying our afternoon treat, we lounged in the tables outside and watched the people and pooches that passed by. It was a super fun way to end a trip to the pumpkin path. If you’re in the area, swing in and give it a try. Oh, and coming from someone who can eat a gallon of ice cream- the single scoop cones are a generous helping! Unless you REALLY want ice cream (or you want two flavors), I would say stick to the single scoop.
Not that I have already tried them or anything, but I heard the Celebration Mud and Chocolate Chip flavors were outstanding as well. If you would like to know what any of the other flavors are like, I will go out of my way to sample them for you. You’re welcome.
