Health is for Douchebags

To be completely honest with you, I am a slob. I have a horrible diet, I don't exercise, I shower maybe twice a week, and I have a habit of leaving food un-refrigerated for extended periods and still eating it. But I NEVER get sick. I think that people are way to anal about their health. Fuckin' carrying around little bottles of hand sanitizer, and being so terrified that maybe one or two of those harmless little germs might make it through their shield of chemicals and give them a cold or some shit like that. I'm no doctor, but ask any doctor and he will tell you that if your body doesn't get exposed to enough of these germs and viruses or what ever, your immune system won't be able to handle it when you are exposed to something that is actually harmful to you like the flu or any number of other disease. I'm not saying you should let your bread grow mold before eating it, or go on an all pizza diet, and stop exercising,  or start eating dirt. Just for the love of god stop being so paranoid the body has an entire system dedicated to stopping you from getting sick LET IT DO IT'S JOB!! The CEO of a company doesn't clean up the office because he's afraid the janitor might miss something, so get back to your office and worry about the things that do matter.
Though the body does not have a system dedicated to keeping you in shape. That one is all up to you. I am being totally hypocritical here just to tell you, because I do almost nothing to keep my self in shape, I must have good genetics or something. It is kind of hard when you still live with your family but when I was living alone one thing I would do was just not buy fatty foods!! It is hard not to eat something delicious but it is easier to just load up the fridge with fruit and vegetables and resist the appeal of the frozen pizza.
I have tried to start exercising many, many, many times, and failed many, many, many times. It is a hard thing to start so what I recommend is to find a hobby that gives you exercise that way you don't have to feel like your doing something you don't want to do. I mountain bike, BMX, snowboard, and golf these are all activities that are fun and give you a great workout. Yeah they may cost a lot of money, but I'm sure you can find some room in your budget for some fun. Follow my blog if you like my ramblings I put out a new entry every day, or leave me a strongly worded comment if you don't, and go have some fun today!!
