My ED assessment on Wednesday was not what I expected.
I didn’t know my heart is straining so hard to move blood through my body, I didn’t know I am malnourished and dehydrated, I didn’t know I am compromising my cells.
Dr. Lockhart was so kind, but completely firm. After my three hours of assessment, interview, weigh-in, vital signs, she told me that I need to admit into the partial hospitalization on the same day.
And I didn’t, but I am considering admitting sometime soon. It’s a lifeline. I’m just afraid I have not the strength left in me to grab it.
