I can't believe it's been 20 weeks already! Time is flying by way too fast and although I'm so excited to meet my little one I want to cherish every moment of the process. Overall things have been relatively normal in preggo-land. I've had a little more back and pelvic pain {I hope to snag a mommy-band soon!} and I get uncomfortable quickly when sitting {perfect for my 9-6 desk job, right?}. And I am definitely becoming a full-time side sleeper but I don't mind because I have a fantastic new sleep aid that I'll tell you all about tomorrow, along with some other MUST HAVE mommy-to-be items! Last night Z and I went to a production of "Noises Off" at Georgia Shakespeare that was absolutely hysterical. While the show was the main event of the night, something else stood out as the "highlight" of the evening and that was seeing a handful of friends that I haven't seen in a while. It might not sound like much but it's the first time most of them have seen me in person since I actually started showing so I was definitely feeling the love... and all the belly rubs!I even had my first "stranger" belly encounter. Well, not a total stranger, someone I had met once before, but close enough. I didn't feel too uncomfortable with it, especially considering I'm totally obsessed with my own belly at the moment and love touching it as often as possible, so having someone else show some belly love wasn't terrible. :) I'm sure once I'm watermelon sized I'll mind a little more but, like I said, I'm savoring every moment of this pregnancy!Another thing that has come up recently is that my hands have been really dry. Strange if you ask me! I know that soon-to-be-moms have a tendency to get dry skin... especially in the belly region, but I have been surprised at how dry my hands constantly are. Then again, it could be the fact that I'm washing my hands much more during the day... with the surplus of potty breaks! Oh well.. just an excuse to bust out my yummy smelling lotion!Enough chit chat, how about some stats?:*How far along? 20 weeks 2 days*Total weight gain/loss: +2 since my 16 week check up. My scale at home is crap so I'm having a hard time judging weight gain off of it. *How big is baby? Cantaloupe! {she was 11 oz via the ultrasound!}*Maternity clothes? Mostly still in my normal clothes with the help of a BELLA BAND for all pants. *Stretch Marks? no*Best moment this week? Seeing her wiggle around like a little worm on the ultrasound! She is so active. AND getting such sweet feedback from her name... Keelin Noelle {pronounced KEY-lynn}*Movement? Definitely some major fluttering and a few prominent kicks here and there. Still haven't been able to catch her for Z to feel... soon!*Food Cravings? Nothing specific this week.*What I miss: Being able to sit comfortably through a movie/play. I'm naturally fidgety but it's gone to the extreme.*What I am looking forward to: When Z can feel her kick*Nausea/Vomiting?: nope {knock on wood}*Labor signs? no*Gender? sweet girl!*Belly Button in or out? Still in*Wedding rings on or off? On and still loose*Sleep? pretty well with the help of my new Boppy pregnancy pillow*Weekly Wisdom: It's important not to dismiss the advice of others when it comes to pregnancy and parenting, as long as you remember that you can GRACIOUSLY ignore whatever tid-bits you choose. It's your baby and your pregnancy and you should never feel the need to compare to anyone else!Until next time...
