Actually, I really didn’t. It was pretty salty. Everything tasted like ocean the rest of the day.
The kiss on the cheek was a lot better.
Oh, and remember how I intentionally booked the Dolphin Encounter in the enclosed tank due to my fear of fish? Yep, there were fish…
The nice photographer lady was kind enough to snap a picture of them for memories. This most likely was to help pass time while I was busy falling off the ledge in the tank after noticing the fish and panicking. No worries, I made it.
My buddy Copernicus thought my fear of fish was pretty funny. He told my how silly I was by splashing water my way and then laughing at me.
Despite his laughter and splashing, I still loved him and asked if I could take him home.
But he said he was really happy at Dolphin Discovery and that Grand Cayman was his home, so I kissed him goodbye and parted ways.
Swimming with Copernicus was one of my most favorite bucket list experiences yet, despite killer fish being in the tank. It just goes to show that sometimes facing your fears is totally worth it! I left Grand Cayman with a happy heart, a happy soul and a smile from ear to ear.
